Job Description
Operates mammography radiographic equipment for diagnostic and screening imaging exams; performs diagnostic X-ray exams as required.
Responsibilities
Confirms exam details with Radiologist; reviews prior imaging; prepares patients; performs mammography; assists with stereotactic biopsy, localization, contrast enhanced mammography and other breast procedures; performs specimen imaging; documents exams; maintains equipment and supplies.
Qualifications
Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program required. NYS Radiologic Technologist licensure required. ARRT Mammography registration required. Minimum 200 mammography exams in past 24 months required. Hospital, fast-paced and wheelchair-bound patient experience preferred.
Schedule / Shift
Per diem — Variable; preferred weekdays/evenings M-F and Saturdays
