Job Description
FlexStaff MRI technologist role operating MRI equipment, preparing patients, managing patient flow and presenting images for physician diagnosis.
Responsibilities
Prepares patients; explains procedures; sets up equipment; screens patients and obtains consent; performs MRI exams; positions patients; enters patient history; calculates scans; consults Radiologist; uses PACS; assists with IV contrast; monitors patients; performs minor repairs/calibration; assists with scheduling and patient flow.
Qualifications
Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program required. NYS and/or Connecticut Radiologic Technologist licensure required. ARRT RT required; MRI registration required within 18 months. Minimum 6 months Radiology Technologist experience required; MRI preferred. American Heart Association BLS required.
